Samsung Set to Resolve Galaxy S23's Camera HDR Problem with Next Update

The Galaxy S23 series received a lot of praise for its camera performance. However, it wasn't perfect, and there were some issues that could be fixed with software updates. Samsung released a new update earlier this month to fix most of the issues related to noise, focus behavior, and video recording in certain situations. However, even this update did not solve every problem related to camera performance.
Now, it has been reported that Samsung will fix some of the remaining camera issues of the Galaxy S23 with the next software update. According to tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), HDR-related camera issues on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be fixed with the next update. Since the South Korean firm releases monthly updates for its high-end phones, we expect this bug-fixing update to be rolled out in May as part of the May 2023 security update.
What is the Galaxy S23's camera HDR problem?

The HDR issue discussed here causes a strange halo effect around objects in the image and is more noticeable in low light or indoor situations. For example, in the image below, you can see the light color outline on the borders of the plant and its flowers, which looks unusual. A similar halo effect can be seen around buildings, trees, and low-light objects.
The issue is expected to be resolved with the May 2023 security update, and Samsung may release it in the first two weeks of next month.
With the April 2023 update, Samsung fixed camera app and gallery speed, autofocus behavior when shutter button pressed, sharpness issues in Super Steady mode in low light conditions, green line issue, face after video call Solved the problem of identifying, and color. Banding issues at 50MP and 200MP resolutions.
